Manage Linux servers, applications servers, mail, LDAP and database servers. -
Develop and implement data backup and disaster recovery strategies. -
Network Management: Traffic shaping, Firewall configuration, Antivirus and VoIP. -
Software/Hardware installation and maintenance. -
Recommend, schedule and perform software/hardware improvements, upgrades and/or purchases.
| | | | | Required Skills & Experience: | -
System and Network Administration certification. Red Hat Linux certification is a plus. -
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. -
2-3 years minimum experience in System and Network Administration. -
Strong knowledge of Linux Red Hat, LAN, TCP/IP, DHCP/DNS/WINS, HTTP/Web Servers and Network Management. -
Experience in designing and setting up Firewall and corporate Intranet/Internet security. -
Experience with database management MS SQL Server and/or DB2. -
J2EE Application Servers: Tomcat, IBM WebSphere. Experience with IBM Websphere Portal Server is a plus. -
Hands-on software and hardware troubleshooting experience. -
